Overall good. He makes the material clear to understand and even though he doesnt give study guides, the tests are easy as long as you come to class and take notes. He sometimes goes off on tangents that are irrelevant to actual class material but overall hes a great lecturer and really has a passion for the subject which makes it interesting.

This class has been very interesting. You should attend class and pay attention if you want to do well. However, if you engage in the material he presents and study, you can do good. If you blowoff this class, you won't succeed. He doesn't give a study guide, but if you try you will be fine. Overall, he is a cool dude and a great professor.

Worst professor I have had. Most of class is spent talking about irrelevant topics which have nothing to do with your test, projects, quizzes, anything. Talks about his personal life a majority of the time. If you do not study everyday you will fail his tests. He even lectured us on a new topic and gave us the chapter test the same day....

Took this class last fall and he was one of the best professors I've had yet. He is very caring and tries his best to make class interesting without going off topic. He has a lot of insight as he is a (not practicing anymore) lawyer. His tests are relatively fair as long as you go to class and do some minimal studying. 10/10 would take again

One of the best senses of humor I have seen in a professor. He's down to earth, and you'll really miss him when the class is over. He offers a plethora of extra credit, so if you don't do it, don't be surprised if your grade is not what you expected it to be. Otherwise, he's a lawyer: a very respected one too. I would take him again!

This was a very interesting class but he definitely made it better. He is a tough teacher so be ready to work hard if you want to get an A in the class. I didnt buy the book for this class although he does assign a chapter per week. Go to class and pay attention and take notes. He did have a few extra credit options

Stay Away. Does not provide study guides or advices on what to study for exams(3) extra credit is available but not worth the 3 points per assignment. Lawyer and wants you to think like one, it's 101 level I believe we should be set up for success not failure or fear or failing the class. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE, SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY.

Excellent teacher. He's very passionate, and he's great at connecting history and current events. He's certainly opinionated, though he uses his opinions not to indoctrinate, but rather to make students think and come to their own conclusions. He's very understanding, and will work with you if you have any difficulties.

Not a bad class in the beginning but went down hill fast. Last night of class it was a class full of angry students. From being told we don't read or write at college levels to not to expect full points on extra credit because we don't think as deep and can't peel our onions properly. Don't take him if you like to get a good grade!

Funny guy that is really into what he teaches. Tests are not bad expect for the essay part which is crazy. It is not 1 question but about 5 in 1 so if you don't study every little thing forget about getting those done and they are 20 pts a piece. Other than that great class with a fun teacher.

My favorite teacher in college so far. He was ideal because he has the right mix of authority and cool-- meaning he'll yell at you if you walk in late, but you can speak up about any hot topic in class. Lawyer who knows his stuff. Disciplinarian but loves to keep the classroom open for discussion. HOT early 40's, omg, I was dying! ~Christina K.
