Speak up for his class or else he will make you repeat yourself until you are loud enough. I missed his class probably 6 or more times but at finals he said I had only missed 2 periods. So that's nice. He won't usally let you make anything up, so do it on time. He won't take late work.

Very challenging, but really cares about his students. Very high standards. He will tear your papers apart but help you make them better. Lots of writing and a lots discussion. Very sweet old man. Stylish. Avoids conflict by beating around the bush. Very liberal views. X Catholic Priest, now new agy/meditation but says he's a Christian.

Mike Rivage Suel is a great professor. He is passionate about what he teaches, and although 310 in general is a stupid requirement, Mike really helped us to learn a lot of things, and challenged us to think outside of the box.

He was an alright teacher, you have to work your a** off for him. I think he brought his own religion into the classroom a little too much. I understand the value of a teacher's experience, but too much can be overpowering too.
