Taking an online course with this guy. its a super easy class, but follow the directions to a T... hes not willing to work with you at all. and I am AT ALL! you either get 100% or 50% on everything. He'll deduct 50% very easily.

Took his online class, he gave us the syllabus and all of the course expectations in the beginning of the quarter and gave us free roam from there. Very straight forward with what he expects from you: One discussion board post, a 1 pg paper, and a 2 pg paper every two weeks. Grades quite easily if you follow directions. Highly recommend taking him

I had always hated History until I took Russell's Latin American history at Spokane Community College. Russell knows how to teach history and he makes it interesting and coherent.

This class was the easiest 4.0 I've ever earned! Take notes off his PowerPoints, and you'll be fine. I took 80 pages of notes, but it was easy. He gives study guides for his TWO exams that have ALL the test material on them. You don't really need your book. Have weekly debates that aren't bad at all, you get points just for going!

I loved his lecture. It was interesting for me. Take summer class because you will take take home essay exam. Essay is long and little hard, but I enjoyed it. You will have to read book for discussion, and he will give you quiz on it, but easy.

Not usually interested in History, but Dr. Mike was really cool. Go to class (pop-quizzes and occasional attendence sheets). Lectures every day (not bad), and movies (VERY BORING, but not on any tests) Study guides for tests, & everything on the test is on study guide. 2 tests, 1 paper, 7discussions. Not a bad class, pretty easy. I'd recommend it.

I hate history, so I don't know if I'm the one to listen to, but I was bored to tears in this class. I also had it for over 2 hours a day, so that probably didn't help. He's a super nice guy, and really is into his work but dull. I didn't know anything about history before or after but still got a 3.8...

Great teacher. He is really pationate at what he is talking about and he wants you to learn. The reading he assigns is useless. I didn't do any reading and studied my notes and got a 4.0. I would recomend taking this class.
