Professor Sanders seemed like a nice person, and he could be pretty funny. However, he pretty much lectures nonstop from bell to bell. He would try to include students, but my class didn't talk much, so it was just him most of the time. On the plus side, most of the work were discussion posts that weren't hard at all.

This is the worst professor that Ive had in my college experience so far. Failed every single one of my papers, even though he helped me write all of them. I was in the hospital so I wasnt attending my classes for about a week. I came back, handed him all of my work, and he laughed in my face. Horrible professor.

The class was easy but the professor made it really boring. He lectures AT you, not with you, from bell to bell. No tests but had 4 papers and did well on all of them.

Dr. Sanders is a really nice guy, and he's been flexible with certain things, reasonably. He obviously knows what he is talking about. My only complaint is that his lectures are very long and pretty boring-it is really hard to pay attention because he doesn't use a powerpoint or any type of visual aid, he usually goes over what we read for homework

Very boring. Monotone, but likes to talk a lot. Gives lots of unnecessary work. Worst professor I've had so far.

The most boring teacher I've ever had in my life. He says attendance is mandatory but I've missed three classes, and feel like I spent my time better by not coming to class, rather than being there for no reason. Assigns a lot of unnecessary reading. Goes over the same things over and over again. Very unprepared and confusing with assignments.

I took him for Major Modern Writers. There is a LOT of reading, you have to go to class but participation doesn't matter. He mainly just lectures. There weren't a lot of exams, just 3 including the final. The matching uses quotes from the books so make sure you read them. The wort thing for me was that he does not give any feedback on the essays.

I took him for Honors Colloqium freshmen year. He explains things really well and elaborates if students need it. There were never any tests; our essays we wrote on the books we read doubled as our exams. Sometimes he drones on a bit though. I barely ever read the books. I skimmed, listened to the class lectures and passed just fine.

The exams are very difficult and detailed. Make sure you know what characters in the book say what. Most of the exams are quotes from the characters and they're not easy ones either. Try to save yourself on the essays.

I have a good relationship with him, you get books to read and write essays on them, fairly easy and always willing to help, he may be boring to some but he is very sweet. You just have to suck it up and listen.

Dr. Sanders is rather incompetent as far as teachers go. He assigns readings and then goes over every minute detail of it in class. His paper prompts are vague, and when he reads rough drafts, he suggests people change "this and that".

He cracks jokes but my class never really laughed. He definitely talks the entire class and if you dont read it's very easy to fall asleep. But while he's talking he's reviewing. He's a big hippie. and otherwise pretty easy.

Most boring, monotone, unmotivating professor I have ever had the displeasure of having. He is not engaging and does not encourage any further thought. If you have a lap top in class you can learn more on tumblr than you can by feign listening.

Prof.Sanders Is a cool teacher. Not demanding, but encourages origanal ideas for papers. Participate and aslways ask questions. He does like to help, a lot. As a 30+y/o freshmen, it was difficult for me to conform to proper writting diction, however, he is fair in grading papers.

Dr. Sanders is phenomenal. He is extremely knowledgable and funny. He demands quality writing along with innovative and critical thinking; he was always willing and eager to constructively assist on all of his assignments. I am an exponentially better writer after taking his course and I say this with tremendous confidence. I highly recommend.

I had him for Great Books and it was the worst class I've ever had. He is extremely boring and just rambles the entire class. All reading is required (there is a lot of it). First B I've ever gotten in a class, wouldn't recommend him for Great Books I.
