Tager honestly is not a bad teacher. He knows the subject area and wants to teach you. Only down side is that he can be extremely boring. I found myself being lost in space half the time because it felt like it was dragging on. Tests were definitely apart of reading the material plus all the debates.

I was not a a POLS major, nor did I have much interest in it. Dr. Tager was an easy going professor who explained things very clearly. I ended up taking three POLS classes during my time at MC and enjoyed everyone. He's not the most exciting, but will do anything to help you in the class. If you even remotely pay attention, his class isn't too hard

Very kind man, does a great job illustrating the material, and makes himself available to you whenever you need. Mike Tager is tireless in work ethic, and genuinely cares about the students. The comparative politics class is good, and he does a great job teaching you of virtually every nation's governmental system.

I had Tager for five classes and enjoyed every one of them, especially his constitutional law courses. He is a great teacher and his final papers are always challenging but interesting. (And you can, in fact, get A's if you know your stuff)

Tager is possibly the most boring person you'll ever meet. You could drink 10 Red Bulls before going to his class and you'll still fall asleep! But as long as you write something on his tests he'll give you a few points. but don't expect an A from him.

The nicest guy in the world, will help you in every situation if he can. Problem is that he is too nice and will never give you a straight answer within class. He can also be quite timid, which is not normal for a prof.

I agree with everyone here. He's AWESOME. He helped me become a better student, all because of his dedication to his students and strudents in general. Plus, you can tell that he REALLY loves his job.He is one of Marietta College's best professors.
