The most brilliant person you will ever talk to. Does a fantastic time showing you what you might not have picked up during class, as well as having very flexible office hours. 100% would take again. Also If you like wormholes, he's your guy.

Probably the best math instructor I had, he speaks with passion about the topic, and is pretty forgiving on minor mistakes concerning formatting, only docking a point or two. He gives out cheatsheets or allows the use of them on many of his tests, which is nice. Also gives out take home tests that count for 20% of actual test.

This guy is a legend around here. He's quote old now, but still teaches very well! All around nice guy and absolutely brilliant, I'm talking Einstein levels. He's actually a world renowned wormhole expert, I kid you not! Just mention wormholes and you can say goodby to the regularly scheduled lecture.

Brilliant Professor. Highly recommend. He could be retired, but he teaches because he is great at it and he loves to teach. That is hard to find at any school!

By far the best professor at MSOE. The man is brilliant! I remember he used to play Chess with students in the dorm. He would play three games simultaneously while chain smoking, and after he kicked your butt, he would rearrange the pieces to 10 -15 moves back and tell you where you went wrong in your strategy.

Dr K. is the BEST math professor you will ever have. Talk to him about the research he does on the side, and you will understand how smart he is. He can explain any math concept to almost anyone. King of partial credit. If you don't get a blast, "Just wait for it!"

"Where's my Supersheet?!" "It's about that time..." "BLAST" *throws chalk at wall or punches board* "Now Anton does it this way..." "Here comes the first climax of the day!" "Now flip to page 473.. Ah yes, that's a great picture of Gottfried Leipniz. Okay, where were we?" "Here comes the pink step!" "The clock has been rather kind to us."

Believe the hype, he is hilarious. Reasonable grader, humorous attitude in and out of class. If you can keep up with his occasional tangents, you will get an A. Fun to talk to in office hours, even if you don't have a math question!

I graduated in 1977 and back then he was exactly as described by these reviews today. I recall he was more interested in the "feel" or "trend" or "direction" of a formula than the exact answer. By far the best and most memorable professor I ever had.

This professor is something else. He is probably the most entertaining professor at MSOE but as far as teaching that's another story. I think I've learned more by going to the LRC for tutoring once a week than by showing up to his class. His lecture is terrible and all over the place making him nearly impossible to follow. Nice guy, can't teach

Professor Kuhfittig is probably the most fun teacher at MSOE. He is SO enthusiastic and knowledgeable about math and through his dramatic board-pounding and hand-waving, he makes his students love it too. I would take him for every math class if I had the chance. Definite must-take.

One of the best professors I have ever had! He always keeps class interesting with the hilarious random things he says. He hits the board alot, makes a lot of mistakes. Favorite sangs include "Haste makes waste!", "BLAST!", "Scribble-Scribble!" and my all-time favorite "You can't argue with SUCCESS!". He is absolutely phenominal!

Awesome teacher. Gives practice tests, is funny to watch and listen too, breaks lots of chalk, and pounds the board a lot. Tried to relate black hole physics to calc 3. Funny guy, good professor.
