Mike offers a tough class, but he is always willing to help during his office hours, or if you happen to catch him by luck. He truly cares about his students, and has the true heart of a teacher.

Good professor who knows his stuff. Sometimes he can be a little complicated, but leads his students to the answers when we ask. Tests are a little rough, but if you study for them, I'd imagine one would do good. Overall, I would say that he is a great professor and that I would take more classes from him.

He is an awesome teacher. Makes sure all the stuents in the class know what he is saying. Sometimes puts you on the spot, but in a good way. Tries to help as much as possible.

I'm not sure if the particular class was supposed to be hard but he made it harder. He doesn't teach the homework very well and most of what I learned was learned by reading the textbook. Just an overall confusing teacher. He likes what he does but just doesn't do it well.

He's passionate about math, a major plus. Comes accross as a bit arrogant, especially towards those who find math difficult. Very nit-picky about "style." Points are taken away if your solution is informal regardless of correctness. Method of teaching differs from text: in the long run his lectures make sense, but very confusing initially.

Very confusing, doesn't take very much time to explain things or answer students questions, wastes A LOT of time doing these quizzes at the beginning of class, questions on tests aren't like homework problems, etc. Overall, he's a nice guy with a goofy sense of humor, but doesn't make math clear.

Very animated and unique mathematical humor...and because of this, his lectures are easy to follow.
