Mr. Zevin is an amazing professor who truly cares about his students. He is a genius and is available to walk you through any questions you may have or material that is hard to grasp. Be prepared to read a LOT and to take really detailed notes. If you can draw it, you will learn it!

NEVER AGAIN! Your grade comes from exams only. I spent so much time going to OTHER professor study groups and had to dedicate myself to sit in his class for 7 hours every week. If you don't want a class on Sunday morning, don't take it. WORST.

This professor is one of the worst professors when it comes to being helpful. He is very condescending when it comes to questions and is not helpful. Lecture/Text doesn't match the Exams. He uses his own drawings for exams and notes, but the rarely match. He digs deep into the more detailed side of things. Not cool.

This professor is, hands down, the absolute worst I have ever had. He does not take the time to answer any questions that anyone has about the material and is very condescending when approached with issues. If you can, DO NOT take this professor.

THIS IS SERIOUSLY THE WORST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN. I love anatomy, so I love the topic... but I'd rather get every tooth pulled out slowly than sit through another semester of his lectures. He is the most boring and dry professor ever. I agree with other comments that he is atleast extremely smart and educated about anatomy.

He is a disaster. He cant stay focused on one topic for longer than 10 seconds, and if he does stay in one place for longer he talks about it for an hour. He is all over the place in his lecture and hardly ever talks about what were supposed to be learning. Very frustrating class and did not learn anything productive directly from him.

Miles is a great professor. Yes, his class can be boring at times. But he knows EVERYTHING about anatomy and is very helpful if you just ask. Most students in the class just whined about how hard it was, instead of putting in the work to get a good grade. Follow his notes, listen to recordings, and take practice exams. Oh and laugh at his "jokes"!

I studied ~30 hours on weeks we had exam and I also listened to lectures again. I still got a lower than expected grade. The problem is the way he word his exam questions and the fact that the whole class is based on exams. We had 3 exams the last day of class!!! Study at least 10 hrs a week, use the old exams and attend open labs.

Horrible teacher, so boring and old school. He has a very dry sense of humor, if you could call it humor .... Never has time to answer questions and never wants to gives his students extra time. I went to every class and busted my butt and could not get a great grade! Could not wait to be done!!!

I enjoyed this class very much. Mr. Zevin is extremely knowledgable and teaches the information that you will be tested on. I did not find his lectures boring at all. He held many open labs during which he was very helpful. In lecture, that's what he does: lectures. Labs and open labs were much more relaxed and allowed time to ask many questions.

Zevin teaches from his head. He is really into histology. He is dry, not very helpful, quick to get agitated, and teaches so much irrelevant stuff in my opinion. Yes, it's nice to know the info, but it is not useful to most peoples' goals. I tried out Yard, 100x better. I think Zevin means well, but misses the boat. Take Yard, Much better.

This class covers a TON of material. His lectures cover a lot of material and many of the diagrams he draws are included on tests. He knows what he's talking about but when you ask questions he kinda just rambles without answering. There are old tests to study and study guides to fill out. Lab tests are hard if you don't study a lot.

He knows what is talking about but his lectures are so boring. He is the typical old fashion teacher. If you are the type of student who likes to study on your own, this is your professor but if you need that motivation from the teacher, take this class with Yard.

Dr. Zevin is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about anatomy. He held open labs and often stayed after class and lab to answer questions. If you download his old tests and notes and actually use them, you'll be fine. He's old school and I enjoyed his class tremendously.

Mr. Zevin is old fashioned with his styles of teaching. He is a very nice guy though and very easy to understand. The tests are pretty straight forward and he does not try to trick you but at the same time you cant take them if you do not understand your anatomy. Get into his lab section if you can, it pays off

I often found myself laughing uncontrollably at his jokes during lecture while the majority of the class sat in a silent hateful stare. Anywhere from 53 to 56 questions on all the test adds up to a lot of bonus at the end of the course. Try to get into his lab section, it will help on the tests considering he is the one writing them. Have fun!

Zevin is an... interesting guy. Maybe 10% of the class appreciated his sense of humor (myself included) while the other 90% was dead-silent after every joke. Made for an awkward lecture, though in a good way. EASY exams, plenty of bonus. PRINT HIS ONCOURSE STUDY GUIDES AND FILL THEM IN THROUGHOUT LECTURE. That's all you need to get an A.

The tests in this class couldn't be any easier. To reduce teacher confusion, it may be best to take him for lecture and lab. He provides lecture notes he answers nearly word for word during lecture, and provides many previous tests to study from. If you need your hand held, he's probably not the teacher for you, but I liked his style.
