I thought i'd actually enjoy this class since its psych101 but i ended up hating it. If you're okay with learning only from the textbook, this class is perfect for you. But beware, this professor tests you straight from the textbook to the point where his lectures are totally irrelevant and useless. I personally didn't like his teaching method

Dr. Funtes was the best professor I had here at MSU. He is wonderful at preaching his knowledge and his passion is something I admire about him. He hugs you with his words. Gives a quiz every week but you will be fine if you read. Very laid back but at the same time very precise in what he wants. He is always willing to help and very sweet

Quiz every class and exam every three weeks. You teach yourself the material and his lectures are based on his experience on the topic. His quizzes were easy and not memorization but comprehension based. He can come across as arrogant and know it all but for the most part his class was simple and easy as long as you do your part. Easy A

Nice man, if you want to do well then read the chapters to the T and you'll do great on the quizzes and tests which are all multiple choice. There's 3 essays that you can easily do and a group presentation that's easy as well. But READING THE BOOK is what will help you get a good grade.

He's not the best professor, but he's cool. Read the textbook THOROUGHLY to ace weekly quizzes and 3 exams. Write the papers and hand them in on time. Go to his office hours. Act interested and he'll love you. He's a good person to have on your side but remember that the course requires a lot of work on your part. Get's easier toward the end!

He is not the easiest professor because he has a unique teaching style. There are four exams, weekly quizzes, three short one page papers, and one group project. He can be a bit anal, but I really enjoyed his class. He doesn't review the chapters in class but if you read the chapters you will be fine! I would take him again.

Not the easiest class if you are a nonmajor. Not the easiest class if you are a major either. I'm doing well in it but that is because I have prior knowledge of the subject. Tests and quizzes based 100% upon the book. His lectures are pointless but if it looks like you aren't paying attention he'll call you out on it. Egotistical but not impossible

HE is definitely not a hard professor. Recommend on taking him. a quiz every week on the material assigned (just read and u'll be good). If you are junior/senior, non psych major please don't take him. His opinion is right everything else is wrong. Really Really hard on attendance. He talks about his study rather then teaching. You have to teach yourself. Student have to be seated certain way, annoying. Not flexible or understanding at all. Please AVOID HIM if you can.

Be on time, be respectful, and expect to have to do some reading and studying. The class is not that hard, but it's also not a cakewalk. Dr. Fuentes is a great instructor and I have learned a lot from taking his class. I definitely recommend it.

In order to pass his class you must do the reading assignments, but he is very open to questions if you don't understand something. He gives critical essays and group presentations which are designed to boost your grade. He's definitely a fair grader and wants his studnets to excel. Great professor! Take him if you can.

In this class now and it's not bad. You must do the reading to pass, but it's generally interesting. His lecture topics and activies aren't bad either. Must attend, but allowed 2 absences. Prof is generally nice and informative, but obsessed with himself. Smart, interesting class, and I would take it again in a heart beat.
