Comment:

Prof is boring and rambles on forever. Hard to know what is on tests and you don't get any homework. You have to read alot to stay up to date. HOWEVER, this prof curves 15-20 points on all the exams I have taken. I have gotten all A's on exams because she is such an easy grader. If you can stay awake in the lecture and study for a bit, you'll do ok

Comment:

I had to take this and was expecting to fail, but Wahrman made me LOVE bio. You have to pay attention in lecture and study for hours, but if you ask questions/show interest she will be kind and willing to help you. Don't take her if you expect an A to be handed to you. She curves all exams and drops the lowest exam (not final). Be ready to STUDY!

This class is definitely by far the hardest course I've ever taken. Not because of the material but because of the professor. she expects so much from you. There are 3 exams a midterm, final and there are no review sheets for any of them. in one class we will go over 2 chapters not being able to learn because she wants to cram 10 chap. in an exam.

This is the worst professor for Human Bio 1200. Her exams have 7 chapters at a time. She never gave any study guides. She rushes through the slides and doesnt let you take down notes. Majority of the class is failing and she doesnt care.

Great prof, Must take her! Like most bio classes, need to put in the effort to get the grade! Focus on her notes & the slides she emphasizes & read txtbk before lectures. Takes time or flies through material. Easy exams all multiple-choice no essay, pop quizzes no more than 5Qs. Don't Ever miss class! Makes material easy & willing to help students

She expects you to memorize on what slides she goes over in class and she won't repeat them if you ask. She clumps a bunch of chapters in one exam and gives you a couple of days to study and expects you to do well. She said one time in class and I quote, "This exam has a lot of information. I feel bad for you guys.", but didn't do anything to help.

Monotone voice, but very clear in what she wants. Tests are easy as long as you study for hours. Read the textbook!! Tests are multiple choice and she drops a test at the end.

A mixed bag in class. Some days the lectures are fun, other days they drag on. DO NOT COPY OFF THE POWERPOINT, she hates that. The class isn't that hard but trying to motivate yourself to enjoy it is.

She has a really monotonous voice so her class seems longer than it really is. She always goes on about reading the book but she expects you to read almost 3 chapters a week. She teaches from the powerpoints supplied by McGraw-Hill and likes to make corny jokes. She drops the lowest test which is nice and she curves the exams.

I have nothing against Dr. Wahrman personally, but her class is really tough. Despite the fact that she curves the tests and drops the lowest grade, the tests are still difficult. It is CRUCIAL that you read, take notes & pay attention in class. As long as you do that you're ok, and you will get something out of it. Her jokes are cute & corny.

Professor Warhamn is a very special person. She is a excellent teacher, she is very smart, and her class is alot of fun. People that dont want to put the work in are obviously not going to get a good grade. Her class is not hard, just study. She is very understanding and she helped me with problems outside of biology. She is a wonderful person.

Wahrman is the easiest science professor at william paterson. Some of her questions are repeated on her tests and some are funny choices which u can automatically rule out.If you dont get a B, you have no hope in the science field.

Wahrman is a good teacher. If you listen to what she says in class, and take lots of notes you'll be fine. Just re-read the chapters you're studying and you'll get a solid B. she curves and gives extra credit. easy class, but it involves time and work.

This class is a handful. Wahrman is knowledgeable about the subject but we covered close to 20 chapters in six weeks. I studied every day for a total of 5-8 hours after class. This is not an easy A and you will have to work your ass off to get a good grade but you will leave the class satisfied you learning something.
