I was told he was good. Well, not anymore. Constant pop quizzes, embarrassed students w on spot questions. He was rude to several students and had ethnicity issue against others. His grading was intense. No partial credit at all. Any mistake & the entire answer was wrong. He expected you to live & breathe the text book. He can't & shouldn't teach.

Will call on you to answer questions, but won't make you feel like an idiot if you get it wrong and will work with you to get the right answer. Very easy class if you pay attention and do the labs. Always has something interesting to say and is hilarious.

Best Spanish teacher at Cameron, but also the harshest. He loves to embarrass students and call people out. He's a good teacher, but can be mean and brash. I did not like him but take his classes because he's good at what he does.

He is an amazing professor. He goes above and beyond to make sure he has done everything he can to get every person in the class on the same page. If you are really interested in learning the "hows" and "whys" of the language this is the man to take.

Santiago is amazing! He is very funny & is always willing to listen. He sometimes gets side tracked and loves his music, but he is an excellent teacher! I LOVED HIM.

Take another Professor. Mr. Santiago takes class attendance, and deducts points from your grade if you miss, quizzes are mandatory, tough tests, and also puts people 'on the spot' during class. There are other great Profs that teach Spanish,(and don't require all that he does)choose one of them instead.

Great teacher but totally misguided in his political views. How can such a good teacher believe internet lies? Watch out if you are conservative. He'll get you. Otherwise, he's ok.
