Ibrahim is a very caring professor, he wants you to pass & literally gives you all the tools you need to pass (lecture notes). He is very precise & wants things done his way or not submitted at all. He will make you redo your work. He's lenient with due dates. Take home midterm & final are 4 essay questions also a 12pg research paper.

As long as you come to class and listen to his lectures, you can easily pass his exams. You don't even have to take notes because he's nice enough to print out the entire lecture for you.

Easy A if you study and come to class because he won't post anything online. He would tell you what will be on the test. There are only 3 tests that makes up your grade for the semester. If you did not do well on your tests, those extra credits will definitely help you get that A. All his tests are based on his lectures!

Comment:

An extremely passionate professor. In my experience, he was one of the the most respectful professors to his students and genuinely cared about educating and guiding the students. There was a lot of writing but reasonable for a 300-level, geography course. I recommend taking his class at least once while you're at Hunter.

Professor Ibrahim is an awesome guy! His exams come directly from the material and notes in class. The textbook is not required at all. As long as you come to class and pay attention you are likely to pass. He is very motivating and wants all of his students to be successful! He even gives extra credit opportunities if needed. A++

He is a very clear professor who teaches exactly what he tests you on. Show up to class and study the review sheet word for word and you will easily get an A. Only 3 tests and no homework whatsoever. He loves inspiring and motivating his students. Genuinely cares and highly recommended.

Professor Ibrahim is such a knowledgeable man! I have learned so much in his class and he really made me enjoy learning about geography. Although you have to study hard and pay attention to what he is saying, this class was really amazing and i would be happy to take it again!

Such a sweet, funny and fair professor. Anyone who says bad things really does it out of spite. His exams are exactly what he says in class so if you do bad- it's because you didn't go/pay attention and slacked off. It's neither rocket science nor does it require constant studying. Go to class, enjoy and pay attention. Easy A+

Just show up to class, pay attention, and study for the exams. It's not back-breaking work- if you want an A you can definitely earn it. He is a great professor. Also, don't speak while he is speaking- if you are a chatterbox and really, seriously can't help but chitter during lecture... you've been warned!

Professor M. Ibrahim is the whole package. He truly cares about his students as if they are his children, and they truly care bout him. There are some tough concepts to grasp, but he makes them simple to understand. He is kind, funny, and interesting. He is not only a phenomenal professor, but an incredible intellectual, individual and "father".

One of the BEST professors in Hunter. He's always there for you. I never opened the textbook but can proudly say that i learned a LOT of things about the subject by just coming to class. Simply an amazing professor. Do not complicate u'r life by taking another professor for the intro class. Take him and get an A!

Really good professor. Took the winter session class with him. Explains all the material really well and makes sure you understand. The textbook is not necessary. Will give you extra credit if needed. Really funny and tries to make the material interesting. I took the two week session and can honestly say that I learned a lot of information.

Professor Ibrahim is an anomaly int hat you wont find professors as caring as he is. He genuinely wants you to do well both in his class and in life. His teaching is very clear and easy to understand and he's great at drawing diagrams to further comprehension. Great class.

Amazing professor! 3 tests, no homework, and attendance is not technically mandatory. However, you need to come to class every day and take notes to pass the tests. Don't bother buying the textbook. He's really intelligent, super sweet, and a pretty funny guy. I totally recommend him.
