She was a super nice teacher, and she cut you some slack if you talk to her. Her class was fairly easy, just do not procrastinate. Even if you do she excepts work late but it's better to get it done before hand.

Prof. Altizer has been my favorite professor in my year and a half here at Suffolk. One of the easiest people to talk to & shows that she cares deeply about every student in the class. Lots of class discussions regarding many different topics which makes class interesting. Definitely going to take her again in the future + have her as my adviser

Professor Altizer was by far my favorite professor that I had this semester. She really focused a lot of the work in class to help you become a better writer and comprehend reading passages. She kept on top of the schools attendance policy which is good. Also got the class to be involved with each other a lot. Overall the best class I took.

She is never in class, and when she is you never know what's going on. She rambles about everything and you never know how to write the essays she assigned until the day before it's due. If you want a lazy teacher who doesn't help you, this is the teacher for you.

Professor Altizer is amazing, she is so funny and sweet and always wants to hear about your opinions and thoughts on any topic that we discuss. She is extremely understanding about assignments especially since hurricane sandy hit during the semester I had her. Overall she is great and I would recommend her

I went to Suffolk for two years and then transfered to a four year school abd graduated. I'll tell you, Professor Altizer is a great instructor, really. She is a professor who i felt went the extra mile for her students which is tough to find in college, exs; suffolk. Bottom line: when all is said & done you will look back and appreciatte her.

Journalism Internship. get 4 absences and have to do about 6 stories the whole semester. She accepts things late and will help you so much, if you/or her feel your story isnt good enough, she'll let you rewrite it 10 times with no grade deduction. she is extremely nice and hysterical when she tells her stories. I would def. take this course!

All of the negative comments on here are such an exaggeration to the real person! She was a wonderful teacher, a kind and funny lady. The work was kind of hard at some points, and a little frustrating, but she always accepts late work, even when it's incredibly late! She helped me out a lot, and I would definitely take one of her courses again!
