She can be very sassy, but she has a great sense of humor. She cancels class a lot, but I never did mind that. Have to attend, attendance is a huge percentage of your grade. Her tests are straight from readings and workbook.

THEE BEST PROFESSOR AT ETOWN! Definitely have a solid Spanish background before taking a class with her or you will get lost in the conversations. Tests and quizzes not too challenging. Some compositions. Speaking mid-term and final.

She is hilarious. Impatient at times but she tells great stories. Class rarely is the full time period. Her tests follow the textbook and activities in class. So if you study textbook and workbook you will be very well prepared. Speak up in class otherwise she will be annoyed. Learned a lot from this class. Don't skip this class.

Montse is the best!! She keeps the class interesting and is always available by e-mail. Attendance is mandatory but it's a conversation class so that should be expected. Readings weren't that hard but some were long, a few 8+pagers. Loved her class, best class I ever took.

If you don't like grammar then def don't take this class--that's all it is. It's more difficult than 212 and she expects a lot more out of you. She doesn't really teach anything in class, you just go over the hwk (which is usually a lot!). Overall, I think it's a great class, and of course Montse is awesome!

I really struggled in the class and i consider myself a good student. She's a really great person and willing to help outside of class but if your uneasy about your language foundation you might want to start smaller and work your way up to Linares standards.

AWESOME PROFESSOR! Just go to the spanish table and you'll see how cool she is outside of class. Her tests are pretty easy if you study the vocab and concepts. I love this class & from now on I'm only going to take spanish classes taught by her!!
