I am extremely please with this professor. He does not teach according to Rot Learning. He wants you to have an opinion. In fact I enjoyed him and Dr. Hanson so much that I kept my employment with Judaic Studies until this day! :)

Good professor, helpful advice, easy grader. Go to class! It wont hurt your grade if you dont go, he'll just make you do extra work... not worth it. Reading is interesting but there is alot of it. If you like to read and you like learning about the Holocaust this is a great class to take.

I don't have any issues with him. The books are interesting enough and never take me longer than 2 days to read. If you like reading this is the perfect class for you. All you need to do to get an A is do the reading and relay the info from that in class/take home tests. There is one research paper, but he's an easy grader.

I enjoyed his class, very knowledgable and have 3 grades. two take home exams which are writing about the material you covered and one term paper approximately 4-8 pages long. If you are interested in Judiac Studies take him he's good.

incredibly knowledgable professor. loves to talk. you don't have to participate in his classes, but he will ask questions to try & make you talk. readings aren't hard, but many! take notes in margins. 3 papers. if you go 2 class, you'll get a good grade.

Great professor. Knows a lot about the subject at hand and has tremendous credentials. You must read the material and participate in discussions though, because he doesn't like to have an unresponsive class.
