He's vague, tests are difficult, hw is hard, he goes through his notes too quickly to copy them down, tests were on material from hw & lecture, and there's lots of lab. If you can, AVOID him. And if you can't, study A LOT and understand all material covered. Review hw & lecture notes and know what you did in lab. It will help on the tests.

While prof fawcett is a well respected guy, he definitely needs to retire. and i thought he had, but now he's teaching fall '06. His tests were very difficult even when you studied, and while he didn't want to curve anything, in the end he had to because no one wants to fail an entire class of students. The labs were a good way to help your grade.

He's vague, hw is often hard, tests are hard, and lots of lab though lab is the easist part. Lecture notes and hw are important when it comes to tests, however he goes through his notes quickly and often there isn't time to copy it all down. His curve is generous. I averaged D's on midterms (no curve) but got a B+ overall. I worked my ass off.

Concepts are kinda sketchy, homework questions sometimes vague, lab work sometimes a lot, but somehow tests were REALLY easy, and I got an A... after getting B- in 2BH, don't drop this guy, easy A.
