Taking Calc I? Avoid this prof (aka, Bad Explainer)! She uses roundabout methods of explaining the solution to a problem,has disorganized lectures, and does not highlight key terms. If she was a good prof. she would make herself OPENLY avail during office hours, hold ques-and-ans sessions and give thorough explanations when you get an answer wrong.

I am a fourth year mechanical engineering student and this stats class is the hardest class I have taken. The pace is fast and the teacher truly believes that knowing stats is the most important thing in life. If you are deciding to a stats class to understand the basics of statistics, do not take this class. This is some next level stuff.

I had read/heard many terrible things about the class, but I still kept an open mind. You must put extra effort in understanding her handwriting on the board. That made it a little difficult for me to follow along the lectures since I could barely understand her speaking. She is a bit unorganized. If math isn't your strongest subject drop the class

She has got to be the worst teacher i've ever had in my life. I had already taken AP statistics in High school and tested into Math37 Statistics with her and she completely ruined everything. Her tests are nothing like what she teaches. You really need to know the concept of the material for her tests, But she wont teach you it. She wont even help.

One of my least favorite professors at Pacific. Grades students based on favoritism. She is moody & rude to the class during random lectures. Gives about 20-30 min (some days 1 hr) of online hw each class, & the program used is horrible. Overall sarcastic, unreliable, & nitpicky in grading and interaction with students.

I entered this class with an open mind everyday, did my homework, and I still wasn't able to do well on tests. You can only pass this class by understanding the concepts, not just memorize formulas. Aside from her tests and handwriting you'll get used to, she's a nice person and a knowledgeable professor. Unfortunately, it did not work out for me.

Mandatory attendance, anal about cellphones and talking. Such a picky test grader and will take pts off for wording things wrong. I feel like I'm taking an English test. Unclear about grades in homework, group work, project, etc. so you're blindsided coming into the final which was nothing like the midterms by the way. Oh & she has a thick accent.

If you aren't a freaking moron, you'll do fine. All these negative reviews are from people who need everything spoon fed to them.If you memorize the stuff she calls an 'x' on the board, you'll recognize it later when it is a little messy. Same with her accent. This is NOT my first foreign professor, and won't be my last. It really isn't terrible

Dr. B is great. Her stats class honestly isn't very hard if you do and understand the assigned homework problems. Her quizzes and exams are structured to the way homework problems are written, so don't neglect the work she tells you to do. She's always available outside of class - very helpful and caring towards her students. I would recommend her!

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! She has a horrible accent and she just rambles and you can't understand her and when you ask questions she does everything but answer them straight forward.
