Very very good professor. Highly recomended. He made the class fun and very informative. Expect to study if you care about the grade. Very pasionate about history. If you are looking to learn take him if you are looking to slack off don't take him.

Professor Faruqui was one of my favorite professors. His class is not that hard but you have to go to them in order to get a grade though. He makes the subject interesting and helpful to understand. So if you get the chance to take him you should do it.

Caution: the readings are really tough and he is very demanding. Do not fear though he is fair and loves his material. Also he respects his students... you will learn tons but avoid taking this class if you are looking for a blow off!!!!
