He is a terrible teacher. I thought I would be able to overcome his heavy accent, but even listening to him very carefully and putting away all distractions still didn't help. He is very rude when you ask him for help. Take the semi-online route because going to class is a waste of time. Be prepared to teach yourself everything.

After 30 years here you'd think he would have mastered English. Luckily he has made himself into a proctor for a mostly online course. Opt out of the lecture portion as he is more confusing than helpful. Master the online program to do well on tests, but don't expect to remember anything 6 months later. The final is brutal.

I didn't know that a teacher could be so callous. I had to get an emergency surgery and he didn't let me make up the work that I was missing. He is a horrible teacher. Avoid this poor excuse for a professor at all costs!

Horrible professor. I could get over his heavy accent and horrible English, but his "explanations" were actually humorous. I hardly went because it was a waste of time. He is awful with questions. Doesn't curve at all and all tests and exams were online in lab- so if you made a typo etc. you were screwed- NO PARTIAL CREDIT.

This class takes A LOT of effort! I finished with an A but it was the hardest A I ever earned. Dr. Seoh does not explain things well at all so you will get a semi-online option and only have to go to lab one day a week. You will have to teach yourself everything and it becomes very difficult!

THE WORST TEACHER. You can't understand what he says most of the time because of his thick accent. Doesn't actually teach HOW to do a problem just does it and expects that we already know what he's talking about. I mostly had to teach myself. If asked a question he will reply, "Do I ask you to remember my name?" and then will continue is work.

Very difficult to understand and assumes that every student has already mastered the material and therefore barely touches on each concept. When asked questions about the material, he becomes very short and slightly rude and often strays off-topic and can never directly answer a question.

I told him I was going to opt to take it semi online. I went to lab once a week which was useless bc our TA didn't even know what was going on and if you needed help he told you to ask her. I couldn't understand him. He told stories most of the class. He's a nice person but an awful teacher. I got an A by teaching myself with the textbook.

Really nice guy. Liked him as a person, but useless as a prof. I didn't have a problem understanding his accent (most will) but he was generally unclear and confusing. The lecture portion of the class is useless but I attended for the points. EVERYTHING comes from Pearson Online. Wouldn't have passed the class w/o the SHOW ME AN EXAMPLE option.

Despite his thick accent, his teaching lacks any kind of clarity. If you aren't able to teach yourself, then just assume you will fail. Within 2 weeks, 3/4 of the class dropped. Fortunately, all homework, quizzes, and tests come from a website that is actually kind of helpful. Statistics is already hard enough; no need to take a hard teacher too.

I took him over the summer and loved him. You have the option of coming to class & have your attendance count towards your grade or doing it semi online where you only had to show up on lab days. 3 exams & they were straight from your homework using MathLab. If you were happy with your grade, you didn't have to take the final.

He covered material at a very fast pace; however, he gave us many opportunities to improve our grades through HW and quizzes. The final exam was optional. Easy A if you do a lot of practice problems to prepare for the quizzes and exams. Overall, he is fair and tries to help his students.
