She is a nice lady, but very annoying. She is strict about the attendance and she assigns a lot of work at once. She gets frustrated when you dont know anything about what she's teaching and she tends to make sarcastic comments most of the time. Overall she is a good teacher and I would suggest for anyone to take her.

Dr. Collins is a really great person. Intro to Music was my "easy class." Just show up, pay attention, and do the few assignments that she gives. She made us get the newest book but still used the 14th edition in class, so get that edition if you don't want to be confused. Everyone that tries gets an A. Would highly recommend. :)

Dr. Collins is scattered brained to say the least. She is literally the oldest in the music department and although you can't tell it by her looks, you definitely can by her memory. She is not well organized and you really don't know your grade until final grades are posted. However, the class was extremely easy and I think she just gives out A's.

Dr. Collins is a wonderful teacher who if you work hard will not only give you an A( you deserve) but will also give you a scholarship to help pay for college...I will say that she does play the FAV game, but hey play along lol.... I miss her and the gospel choir...she is a must!!! take her class!!!!!

I freaking loved Dr. Collins!!! Just like any other class, the teacher can get on your nerves, but guess what honey... THATS LIFE!!! (smile) I was in Gospel Choir and it was such an enriching experience... if you understand the class for what it is, a gospel ministry that serves the community through song, you will eventually find your purpose....

she is cool, but she forces her religion on her gospel choir students. She also contradict herself by saying that we are for real when we worship, and that we don't put on a show; Yet she fusses at us when we don't get happy or catch the spirit like she think we are suppose to. She is ok outside.
