Students like him because he doesn't teach. He just talks about random stuff- what did you guys do over the weekend? What concert did you go to? Isn't the President an idiot? What are your favorite TV shows? "Well, I see we have 4 minutes of class left, we'd better talk a little about history." - direct quote. Pushes a liberal viewpoint, as well.

Took him for western civ 2 and US history 2. He makes you read 10-15 pages every night for homework, but it's easy. And he's hilarious. Makes class fun. And also gives talks bout what's going on politically. Good insight.

One of the best instructors I've ever had. He makes history real, he's funny, and he grades fairly. You HAVE to read the assigned chapters to pass the class and HAVE to take class notes. In one of his classes I had to write a paper in the other make a PowerPoint. The tests are moderately hard, but if you really try you can do well. Plus he's cute!

Mr. McCool is a very good teacher. Definitely read the chapters the night before class and take notes during class. He writes all of his notes on the board. 4 tests, final not cumulative, and a PowerPoint research project. Take him if you can!

dude is awesome! took him 4 times and got 4 A's. very intelligent and presents the material in a way that should be easy for most to understand. got to class though cuz u have to take notes, makes it easy since you just copy exactly what he writes down. take him!

I had Mr. McCool for Western Civ. 2 and American Gov. He is an awesome teacher. If you attend class every day, you'll do well. His essay questions on his tests come straight from his notes. The only time I opened my book was for the quiz every class. Just studied my notes for the test. He is very friendly.
