Was excited for this class but that quickly went out the door. Very narrow-minded prof. Weekly quizzes were very tough, no partial credit, must write answers in her words not your own or its wrong. I did not learn anything about Multicultural Ed from this course. End of the semester project was semi difficult but better once you got started on it.

I learned nothing in this class. It was not related to Education at all. She's very rude, she doesn't explain anything. She plays favorites too. The end of the semester project is awful. The rubric makes no sense and she's really strict. There's a quiz every week on the chapter and you have to read between the lines. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Her reading quizzes are very hard. However, you will learn A LOT from her in multicultural ed. She supports topics in the class with all sorts of data, research and examples. You will learn things about yourself that you probably did not realize before. Be open-minded!

LOVE her, but despite the fact that I love her she does give a lot of reading and quiz you after. the quizzes were really hard. she's very truthful and not a lot of people like that. I on the other hand enjoyed it. would recommend her.

A horrible teacher. If she will be late for one hour she will not cancel class we just had to wait for her to come in. Also the final project was horrible. the grading was not clear and it was really easy to miss something that she expects to be in the project. Also she only excepts her view on things and not others view, very narrow minded.

she is boring and weird most of the time and it doesnt help her class is WICKED early...def not where i want to be at 8 in the morn...but hw is once a week and pretty each and she gives you test questions prior to test so if u are able to stay awake and do what you have to you will do ok in this class..

She is also my advisor. shes is nice, but sometimes difficult to understand... and she is horrible in returning e-mails. She loves the author of her textbooks, Nieto, and she is a tough grader on tests!

Ok I feel like I have to warn whoever is signed up for this class. This woman is the most biased **** teacher I have ever come across. Not to mention shes unorganized as well and lost some of my work. The class is easy but excruciating. She uses insulting generalizations about White people to make her points and wont respect any opposing opinion.

The class is supposed to be multicultural...instead somehow everything relates back to hispanics...oops sorry latinos! Hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. I learned so much from her. I plan on taking any class she teaches in the future. She does expect a lot as far as level of work, but that's a good thing. Class is relatively easy - 4 books to read,tests on them and a paper with presentation. None of it is any big deal. Highly recommend her.
