Comment:

Professor White is so funny and witty. However, I assumed this class would require very little effort. Well, perhaps that is true, but I didn't put enough as I ought to. I settled for a B. I didn't too much like the genres we did. Thus, quiz time was fail time for me. I know, I ought to be ashamed. I did well on the essays, though! Overall, 1010!

I loved Dr. White! She is respected at the clearwater campus as the go-to English professor! Assignments are easy as long as you take notes! Gives about 4 essays and around 10 grammar quizzes throughout the semester. Will give you feedback on how you can improve as a writer. Will inspire you to be an active reader. Highly recommend!

I had IDS 1106 with Prof White and absolutely loved it. She is so nice and really funny. Her class is all about participating in class discussions and being specific in your written assignments. She is very understanding and easy going, just put in the effort and you will do just fine. Mention you have a cat even if you don't and she will love you.

Dr. White is absolutely AMAZING! I took her for IDS 1006 and am taking her next semester for IDS 1112H. Only "textbooks" used are ones that most people have from high school. I definitely recommend her for anyone who needs Humanities or Comp credits!

Mrs. White was a very caring teacher whose personality made the class fun. She's very caring and makes the presentation very comfortable, even if you aren't one for speaking. You definitely need to take the time to study for her tests, but it's worth it. There are 2 cultural papers and a presentation, but they aren't bad. The class is worth it.

If you like a scheduled semester, she isn't for you. She has a schedule but loosely follows it. She is open to class discussion and will sidetrack on things she finds that are cool (and relevant). I didn't think this was a bad thing, though. Loves what she does. Do your reading in RWH, but I didn't do a single reading in Fiero and passed.

This class was really fun but difficult. I'm not a strong reader so I had to spend hours some nights rereading works just to understand them. She always has a quiz at the beginning of class following a reading. She cares about her students and likes to see you talking during the discussions. Her lectures are both funny and relevant!

Hands down best teacher I have ever had!!! I had her for honors humanities and it was so interesting thanks to her. I actually enjoyed learning and reading the textbooks. In fact, I am taking her World Lit class next semester just because she is the teacher.

Dr. White is definitely the nicest professor I've had. She's there for her students, and she wants you to succeed. If you need help with a paper/project, she's there. She helps you elaborate on ideas for her papers, and if you want to change the prompt a bit and do a good job, she'll let you. Her class is amazing, and she's a fair grader. Take her!

Morelli-White is a very hard professor. Not helpful to the students. If you do not understand something there is no point in asking considering she will not help you. Readings are 50+ pages then you must take a quiz based on it. Hard grader for sure, definitely not lenient. She talks about her personal life to much especially all of her cats.

I will not be taking Mrs. Morelli again. Her lectures were difficult to sit through. Many times she did not appear knowledgeable and often confused characters and their names. she lectured at a high school level, and then graded at a high college level. also, no rubrics are provided for graded essays. still no idea as to how she arrived at grades.

The class moves at a really fast pace, but she's a really fantastic teacher, and honestly one of the best professors that I've had. She really knows her stuff and is willing to help you out where you need it. If you don't keep up in the book then you'll be a little lost when it comes times for class, though.

Dr. Morelli-White's class is okay. I mean it isn't anything that I would have to say is you have to take her class. It is very tricky and difficult. Her final was the hardest thing ever. I got a B, and that was because I did poorly on her final. A list of the pieces we talked about isn't enough to review off of. She doesn't round either!

I loved this professor! She's so passionate and really knows her subject matter. There is A LOT of reading, but fantastic class discussion about the reading.
