If you are going to get PHD, you can probably take this class as a good foundation; otherwise, it is not useful to find a job or take CPA exam whatsoever. Grading is arbitrary, and highly depends on his impression on you. Since you cannot avoid this class, you should at least have a good memory and make him like you. Be ready to be overwhelmed.

His class is useless yet he gave so much project which he don't have a fair critique system, everything is based on his first impression on your project. The content he taught you is disorganized, he just want you to recite everything in his mind and something is not on textbook, powerpoint. Avoid!

Count how many times he says "okay" in a class, it is hilarious. Good teacher, I actually learned stuff which is rare for the accounting department in Binghamton with horrible teachers like Reiter and Mustafa. Tests are not bad and projects are graded very leniently. Just don't miss the classes where he goes over how to do the projects. OKAYYYYY

class is very structured. either you know the material or you don't. the projects are all relative-graded. the curve is high and the lowest grade you can get is an B- no matter how horrible you do. the average is set at B+

This gentleman isn't going to give away an A. On the other hand, if you do the example questions and can work through the things he goes over in class, an A is a gimmie. Very animated in lecture. A little tough to understand once in a while (he's a native Chinese speaker). I thoroughly enjoyed his class.

OK, so def. not as easy as everyone else thinks him to be but definitely on the side of handle-able for any average student. Im not sure exactly what to say about him, if you pay attention, hes helpful every now and then and he's really nice. Hes also just a really cute man, not really in a "sexy" way but hes cute, you'll get it when you take it.

Too much time is wasted in class, and its hard to follow what is going on. Expect to teach yourself most of the material and study days before the test. The two projects are easy but the exams can be difficult.

This class requires days of studying before the test. He isn't as easy as some ppl told me. There is just too much material to review and he tests very lil. It gets a lil confusing when he does it one way in class and the slides show it another way.

Laid back kind of guy. Very funny. His tests aren't easy but if you go to class, you'll do alright. All in all, good professor, likes what he does and uses real life examples. He's very appreciative of effort and participation.
