The absolute sweetest person in the world. You can always tell how much she loves her job. I enjoyed her class. You write a lot of essays, but if you put in the work she will give you a good grade. She also always gives feedback on your essays so you can do better on the next one.

She will make you work for an A. There was a lot of reading/writing to do for some assignments that werent worth very many points. She gives very thorough feedback on essays. She can sometimes seem harsh, since she is honest, but she does care ab her students. She quickly responds to you if you have any questions, and is willing to help you.

Professor Applegate is an amazing teacher. She made my first online class enjoyable. Her lecture notes are extremely helpful. Use them as you read and you will feel well prepared for the Exams. It is evident that she has a passion for her job and cares about her students.

Professor Applegate was a great teacher to take online. She is very clear and thorough with what she wants you to do. I would definitely take her for an online course again in the future if possible! If you're dedicated to your online courses, you will do great in this class.

She is an EXCELLENT professor, I will be taking her again for world lit. Yes she is particular with certain things but so is EVERY eng/lit teacher. My frustration with her was it seemed like sometimes the answers were just never good enough! I believe this is why her easiness rating is so low! she is great though take her if you can!

I can't believe that people thing you can not go to a college class and still do well. Yes, Dr. Applegate marches to the beat of her own drum but I took 3 of her classes and made three A's, easily, because she was VERY clear about what she expected you to do. She would actually say "Read this story there will be a test next time we meet." awesome

She is VERY intersted and gets really excited and into the literature and things learned about in this class. She is always energetic and happy but don't talk in her class or stay on computers. Read the material and do all the work 100% and you will have no problem. She will try to scare you but I overlooked it and didn't panic and made an A:)

Dr. Applegate is a wonderful teacher. Her class is just a bt boring. I had her for American Literature II, and in class, she just discussed the stories we were supposed to read. The study guides are very lengthy, whereas her tests are fairly short, so it'd be best to memorize all the stories.

I had her for world literature I. She is kind of odd. She tries to be funny and stir up discussion, but often she just ends up making herself look weird in front of the class. Tests are all essay format. Your hand will be falling off after her class. Also tons of reading. I made an A, but it didn't come easy.
