The most articulate and competent lecturer in the department, Pof. Plaw lectures with enthusiasm, humour, and patience. He instilled not only an understanding of Hobbes and Machiavelli, but an appreciation of political theory as a whole. His invocation of Isaiah Berlin stimulated my interest in that thinker, to my lasting benefit.

Great lecturer, clear class structure and excellent notes online. He made his subject interesting and has a great sense of humor. Can’t base grading style on him since he usually has TA’s that evaluate most work submitted, and they change each semester. He is leaving Concordia, their lost!!
