This professor was very helpful in helping me pass the class. I suggest this professor's class to anyone who needs to fulfill a math requirement. Also, anyone who has learning disabilities should also take this class because she is very helpful and can answer any questions you may have and really makes sure that you understand the subject.

she is the best!!!! she gives an practice test and is exactly like the test, only changes the numbers, she will go over it and and practice final too! she is awesome and very clear very good teacher! take her!!! you will love it! she got sick and didn't show up but she would get ahead easily, best math teacher so far! and she is really nice!!!

Definitely a superb lecturer, breaks the complicated material into simple, does many examples to get point across and, takes time in between to ask the class if they follow. Take her if you want a good grade!

Super nice professor, she knows her math well, lets you use her notes and your notes on the exams, the practice exams were very straight forward and similar to the homework and actual exams, plenty of extra credit homework and bonus problems on the exams. Take Bray for an easy A!

Comment:

Third time retaking Discrete Math, unlike other professors, she allows us to use notes on exams despite of how much effort I try to memorize things. Bray is a very nice lady and shes very passionate on her study field. My only concern is her health and I wish her the best. Overall, a must take if you're having trouble on other courses.

She was okay. During the my semester with her, her attendance was sporadic, with her only showing up 40-50% of the time. She's sweet and caring, and her lectures are informative. Her tests are fair and the writing assignments are interesting. Her communication skills are a bit lacking when it comes to emails, but I was able to succeed with effort.

I had the privilege of taking College Algebra from Professor Bray. She explains the subject very well and is never to busy repeat explanations. Actually cares about her students and wants us to succeed. She may have her health issues but the substitutes sent to teach the class just made me appreciate her all the more.

WARNING to anyone taking her this spring. She is a nice lady but she is no longer effectively able to teach due to many many health issues which she will spend a good portion of class time talking about. Fall of 2013 we had 3 different subs and missed several classes completely which put us severely behind. Highly suggest avoiding at all costs.

I am glad I took Calc 2 with her. She really cuts out all of the unnecessary difficulties that come with the class. Her lectures prepared me for tests and homework. She allows graphing calculators and her tests are open note. She is a very caring teacher. The only thing holding her back is her health so I recommend you take her as soon as possible.

Bray is such a sweetheart and very understanding. Her class consists of 2 take-home writing assignments (15%), hw and take-home quizzes collectively will be (25%) 2 will be dropped. 3 tests, 1 will be dropped (40% of entire grade), final (20%) and there will be a take-home portion of the final. You can bring notes on tests and the final. Enjoy!

Sweet, funny and helpful! Grade is based on HW, Exams and the final. She practically gives you the exam beforehand, and allows notes during exams! Seriously an easy A if you put in any kind of effort!

If you are taking this class & you DO NOT need to take any other math classes then take her you will get an A I got an A but if you actually need to take Calculus II and you major requires you apply and use these formulas you are screwed! Hands down the best math professor at Mesa College. Professor Bray is extraordinarily helpful and is not the type of professor who simply wants you to perform busy work. She wants you to understand the material and will work with you until you understand it. Her lectures are helpful, informative but not overly so. Again best math professor at Mesa.

I had her for linear algebra and I think I took harder classes in junior high. I'm acing DifEq and Vector Calculus at UCSD now so I, even though she made it so easy, I was well prepared for future math classes. Take her if you can.
