Comment:

I have had three classes with her, and she is one of my favorite teachers. She is not an easy grader, and there is a lot of reading in her classes. However, expectations are clear. If you haven't taken an upper division course with her, she is a lot more fun than when you take 200 level classes. She gives more papers than in class tests.

Nancy is my favorite professor because she cares about her students. The people that complain are, in my experience, the people that don't read the material and half-ass the papers. Don't go into her class expecting to get an A just because you showed up and turned in assignments, you will have to earn your grade. This is college, not high school.

On certain days she is extremely passionate and can make a seemingly incomprehensible text an understandable joy to discuss, but more often than not she is moody and seemingly bored. Very uninterested in interacting with students. She is extremely intelligent and worth taking a class from, but it's a little too easy to get an A without reading.

Dr. Cardona teaches at a high school level, but has very high expectations for essays and quizzes. I attended every day, did homework, I was interested in the content, but she still failed to engage me. I was very disappointed by this class, it felt like a complete waste of time, energy, and resources.
