Very easy to get an A but class was so boring and she treated us like we were 5th graders. Pointless assignments and papers. Nice lady but boring class and although she doesn't take attendance she gives random assignments and in class activities. Taught off powerpoints and I barely used the book except to prepare for tests.

All the things she teaches you not to do in public speaking, she does herself in class (hand gestures, verbal pauses). It's an easy class because it is taught straight from the book, but you do not need to read it. Otherwise, it's just a class where you get time at the podium to speak. No improvement necessary.

Very annoying person. Boring class, all you do is take notes. She really likes group activities and has you do them frequently. All the activities are retarded. I found myself counting down the minutes until class was over every class period. Tests are easy and you must attend classes otherwise you will miss a ton of points. 2 papers.

Completely mediocre teacher. I neither liked nor disliked Nancy. My only complaint is that she's highly unorganized. Emailed her about 4 times & never heard back once. She's nice, though. 3 speeches: 1 info, 2 persu. In class quizzes are cake. One departmental final at the end. Mandatory for all Comm 241.

Super nice but Super boring. Test are pretty easy if you go over your notes and study. Used the book when i studied for test. A few papers but they were pretty easy. If you go to class you will do good in class.

This class is very easy. All you have to do is read the chapters, take the EASY 10 pt quizzes, and give speeches. I only had to give 4 speeches, none of which exceeded 10 minutes. I received an A in this class. Show some interest and you'll do fine.
