Very talented! She has mountains of information and experience to give. Most students don't "get her" as evidenced by her reviews. I had her for 5 classes and learned more in those classes than the rest of college. She will teach you more than you realize.

Flanagan is a crazy lady and expect to leave the class very frustrated. The fact that not everyone is an artist is not in her grasp and expects you to be able to draw well. Doesnt grade on effort so if you want an A and dont know art.. dont take her

Strange. She once shaved her head. She loves abstract and especially abstract colors. If you are painting a tree, she will tell u to paint it purple. Wierd, but kinda funny.

at first i had a hard time in her class, because its learning technique and the basics that i passed way before. But once i figured out her technique and what she wanted i enjoyed her.Art is tough if you do not have talent and teaching art is difficult.

With Flanagan painting is stressful! I left every class in a bad mood- she drives you nuts! She tries to help but ends up making you more confused than ever! She is in her own little world. She thinks there is only 1 way to paint and that is her way!
