Comment:

Professor Ressler is the Greatest Math Teacher I ever known. My math skills were low, like elementary low before I got to Oakton. Some how our path crossed and she build my confidence in math. I FINALLY GOT MATH! She is very patient, as long as you put the work in. Math is very hard, but with patients and hard work you will pass this class.

By far the worst teacher I've ever had. Not interested in helping the students at all, she lets the online textbook do her job for her as she babysits the class. Answers questions in a way that makes you think she's doing you a favor. Sometimes she doesn't even know the answer to your question. Goes over wrong material in class. The lady's clueless

This teacher didnt even care enough to help out a student who enrolled after not having a math class in 3 years. The teacher remarked that "you should know this stuff already," when the student asked her a question in class on something she was having trouble with. This treatment of the student prompted me to withdraw from her class.

This is by far the hardest class I've ever taken, no joke. And I put alot of work into it. My advice is take it in person. If you take it online, do ALL the practice homework problems and take notes on them for the online exams. She lets you use a note card front and back for the midterm and final which are in person, but they're still very hard.

Great math teacher. Sweet, walks the students through several examples of each type of problem. The only problem is if you get bored there is not much to do in class except work on homework. Do not take if you hate to do work on computers, all of the tests are on the computer. Don't fall behind, it is very easy to do. Helps with any questions.

Good luck with this math none of the tutor know this math at learning center so ur pretty much on ur own , n she is not there help u most of time or sometimes she can't figure out either, so be ready for lots of hw n tests every week , very hard math, so i will not take her again

This class is impossible, you have to attend for a grade but everyone just goes on the computers and wastes time. She is very kind but dosn't take any authority, there are kids that open the book and look at websites for help DURING a test and still fail them...If you are a fan of wasting time and then just learning everything from the book take it

She is a very nice lady. While I didn't have a lot of problems with the course, I know others did. She has a tendency not understand and explain a problem in a different way. If you don't get it the second time it is explained, odds are you won't get it from her. Don't be afraid to work with tutors if your having problems.

Nancy is "student sensitive", she is always willing to help. She i not hard, if you know anything. I had an on-line course, and we have to take two test at school, two quizes after every two chapters, and handed homework. If you do your work- you will be fine.
