This prof is one of the best at Trident. She made abnormal psychology really interesting. Not sure why some students gave low scores maybe they actually had to read the book. She gives help in how to approach the text book if asked. She even gives hints about what might be on the short answer essays. Take her she's amazing!

I took intro psych. Best class ever. She made things interesting. No boring lectures. Would highly recommend. She is knowledgeable, approachable and gives help if you need it.

Seems to talk in circles a little bit and does not cover the material step by step. Nice lady but would not recommend, came to class disorganized almost every day & didn't not bother to answer any questions even when called on. But very interesting subject to study! ������

she is absolutely an amazing teacher I have had her for general psychology and abnormal psychology and she is so fun to have as a teacher, she gives you notes that are not straight from the book, test are straight forward, she has the class actively participate

Dr. Simpson is awesome!!! I am in her mix-mode class. Its extremely easy. We only meet once a week. Tests are online. She gives you all the material you need to pass the class. On top of being a good teacher, she has a stellar personality. She is really funny and makes lecture fun. Totally recommend. Ignore any other comments that say differently.

Make sure you read, she doesn't cover all test material in class and she covers some stuff last minute the day of the test. She knows the material and is a very animated lecturer. She likes to get you engaged in the lecture which can be fun. No extra credit, but if you do the homework and assignments you won't need it.

This class is pretty straight forward. I thought it would be simple, no work, easy A without studying. I was wrong. She gives you her own notes from the chapters which I studied from. Just read the notes and understand the material and easy to pass. She also drops the lowest test score! Passed with a 88

I took this class online, and at first it seemed like it would be an easy class. But the further I got into it, the more complicated it got. Weekly assignments were not proportional(one week I would have easy reading, the next I'd have 4 days to over 3 chapters before the exam), and instructions were not clear(they were more of suggestions).

Dr. S. helped me on how to study when I went to her office hours. She is funny in class. I took abnormal psychology and learned alot. One of the best teachers at TTC. Take her! I'd take her again.

Professor Simpson does not give any study guides or help at all. She simply goes over a basic idea of every chapter and does not go in-depth, so you better grab your textbook and READ. She does not do PowerPoints or any form of organized notes so you better know how to write stuff down which she says. YOU MUST STUDY FOR HER TESTS!

Took this class online and was the worse. She did not interact with the students. I can't even tell you who was in the class to talk about what we read. She had us read all this stuff and looking at videos and then take an exam... She does not respond to emails in a timely matter... Would not recommend...

Maybe I took the wrong class but she wasn't funny. She didn't give any extra credit opportunities. She's anal about phones being out. You have to put in the work to make a good grade in this class (read the book). Oh & she literally keeps you the whole class time.. bad weather &all. I dreaded going to this class smh & this is my major :( !
