A really nice woman, an expert in her field of study, and a pretty lenient grader. Lectures are a bit hard to follow and readings are not worth keeping up with. She is so passionate and cares about her students.

Had her for a mini course on Zionism. Somewhat interesting class, 4 short papers, one homework. Didn't actually have to do the readings except skim when writing papers. Seems tough, but she's so nice and helpful. Gave two extra credit assignments that each added 5% to our overall grade. Easy A for sure.

Professor Sinkoff is extremely intelligent and clearly loves her job. Not only does she know what she's talking about, but she portrays the information incredibly well to the class. She truly cares about her students and their achievements and is always available and willing to help. I really recommend taking a class with her, great experience!

Assigns unreasonable amounts of work and is completely unapologetic about it. Sifting through the copious readings for salient points is tedious and impossible. Barely got to most of the readings, but didn't learn to skim them until the middle of the semester. She is really intelligent and can be somewhat helpful but beware of tough, tough grading

She is a brain;a little arrogant, but rightfully so. I loved her class. Participation, attendance, and prior interest are key to doing well. Previous background in jewish studies & hebrew is most helpful. Sit in front and you'll do fine.

The best professor that I ever had!! Despite what people say, she does care about her students and is very helpful. She does talk fast but that's because she knows so much that she wants to share. Very nice and funny too!! It was an honor to learn from her.

She is a very nice person, but speaks incredibly fast, it reminds me of the hot wheels guy!! she is not an easy teacher but a decent class, but most be willing to learn and you must pay attention at all times or you will be lost.

A very good and organized prof. If you work hard for her, she will help you out a lot. Go to her office hours..make the time to see her. Tough on papers, and very academic. A stickler for grammar. Allows you to see both sides of Jewish History.
