Comment:
She is not the type of professor to overwork you. Not to say it's an easy class bc it is definitely difficult but she told us from the beginning if we put in 30 minutes to an hour a day we'd do well. She may come across as intimidating but one on one it becomes clear she wants us to succeed. Also, she doesn't purposefully try to trick you on exams.

Absolutely awful professor. She grades you like grad students and takes off points for the most ridiclous of reasons. Her TA's are her own little are my point removal. How are you gonna give us a final exam with ESSAY questions in a lab section? she's effin crazy.

Comment:
Lab lecture is pointless- she just reads off slides. She comes across as intimidating, because she has such set expectations, but she can be alright. Lab reports are hard, because though you may understand the concepts, if you don't write the report by her standards--many points off. DEFINITELY go to the Lab TAs office hours to do the reports.

There's a "lab lecture" that after you attend 2, you realize how pointless it is because no matter what she says in it, it doesn't help your lab report. They give you a template on how to write labs, you follow it and then they grade it down and say "why didn't you include this?" You never asked for it! Don't get me started on this class...

Comment:
she teaches the Lab part of first semester Organic Chemistry. She is an idiot. the lab lecture that goes along with the class is totally useless, she could have just written the "hidden" in formation that you only get from the lecture in the notes that she gives out. It's not that it's hard, it's that she makes it boring and completely unappealing.

A truly helpful professor. She's available for help, and makes the material easy to understand. Lectures are possible to follow. She's fair on exams. Quizzes help to keep up with work. Makes 1st semester of ochem look horrid.
