Dr. Vinton is a genius. No one can deny that she is caring and focused on her goal of helping you succeed and learn. But you reap what you sow. You have to work for your grade and study. I did every day. So take her, she will teach you many things that will be handy in the future. She is a straight forward woman.

She is was the hardest professor I have ever had. She was nearly impossible. I studied every night. She is human and does make mistakes, but I learned a lot.

Dr. Vinton is a solid instructor. She knows a lot about the subject and makes you work hard to get a good grade. She spends time going over things you need to review. You will leave the course knowing the material inside and out. The quizzes are basically a study guide for the exams. She makes the expectations of the course very clear.

Vinton is a lovely woman and an excellent, helpful professor. Her classes actually teach you the material; it's no easy-A if you wanna slack off. Extremely specific with grading, I was marked down for not including the word "bacteria" next to "H. pylori" even though I also stated that I would prescribe an antibiotic. She's worth the money.

I LOVED Vinton!! Her class was super hard , but she gave out all of the information needed to pass the class. Quizzes and exams were directly related to the lectures. i took her for lab and lecture for A &P 1, and am taking her again for A &P 2.

Dr. Vinton is a university quality professor. She is an MD, very knowledgeable, and incorporates a bit of medical conditions into the A&P Lectures to make them more interesting. You will learn a lot from this professor, and she is available to help outside of class. Very nice person. Must study to do well.

Dr. Vinton is an extremely knowledgeable of the material that she teaches. When you are having difficulty, she is always in her office after class and more than happy to go over material again. I had her over the summer and she ended up being one of my favorie professors. If you take her study hard as she expects the best of her students.

Best professor I've ever had! I feel like I received a university level education at Cecil college. If you are going into nursing and take vinton for ap 1 and 2 then you WILL be prepared for nursing. If you feel as though vinton is unfair or a tough grader then you mine as well not even apply for nursing

Very tough professor, not attentive to students . She knows a lot but doesn't want to help, skips through stuff, not thorough. Wish she would care but she doesn't. Will not take again.

Very tough teacher but she knows her stuff. I got a great grade in her lab and lecture but it is a lot of work. She is a fast grader and is clear about what she wants and goes over important material at length. She always does test reviews which is great! I'd definitely recommend her if you are headed into the nursing program

Vinton is a very tough professor... She is a nice person but sucks as a teacher. I pretty much had to teach myself the information because her lectures are just her reading the powerpoint. Tests are hard and she doesn't explain the information thoroughly

WORST CLASS IVE EVER TAKEN!! Do NOT take Vinton. I have her for Nutrition (Bio 203) and she is a nice lady, but an awful teacher. The whole class is her reading off the PowerPoint. Very easy to lose focus in class. She gives review questions for the exams but the info on the test is different. Her handwriting is illegible & she grades really hard.

Worst class I've done in, very interested in topic but cant learn from her. She takes off 1/2 pt. for ALL spelling mistakes, cant even write notes because I can't read her handwriting, very smart but goes through material too fast and fails to make it understandable to an Anatomy1 student. Must memorize everything for labeling too, 50+ blanks.

I really wish someone had warned me about Vinton. Worst teacher i've ever experienced. Highly intelligent but a horrible teacher. A couple times when i ask her questions she doesn't give me a clear answer and even catches an attitude. Her tests are unbelievable. Its like she enjoys failing you. So mad i spent money on this class and was stuck w/her

I've never had anything bad to say about any of my professors until I met Vinton. She's a terrible teacher; when you ask her a question, she answers by restating the question and not really answering at all. Her grading criteria is incredibly difficult and unclear. It's like she aims to fail students. DO NOT take her if at all possible.

Her writing on the board is completely illegible. But you must decode t, because you have to answer test questions with her exact words or 0 pts are rewarded. She also has double standards, I was in the hospital & unable to take a quiz & she didn't let me take it, but she allowed another student to retake hers without a legitamate reason.

Dr. Vinton's knowledge of the subject matter is AMAZING. I'm pretty sure she knows everything, without even a glance at lecture notes. But the rumors are true, she grades extremely hard. Her class is the hardest class I have taken at CC, this being my 4th semester. When you do do well though, you know you've truly earned it. Study hard!

If you want a challenge this is the professor for you. She wants you to know word for word on her exams or you wont receive any points. The first time I took her class I got a D because I was taking 18 credits and I did not know she was going to be so tough. The 2nd time I received a B because I studied word for word.

She was tough, flying through the material, but I believe very well acclimated to it. I withdrew because there was no way I was going to settle for a C. I must place myself in the front row of classes that are foreign to me (SCIENCE) and know that if I want to become a physician as I do, I must study, study, study until it is completely known.
