She really cares about you as a person which is nice. She assigns three in-class speeches and a final. Your "homework" is so EASY! One assignment was coming up with adjectives. She is a stickler for how long your speeches are so practice them a few times, but other than that, she's a little annoying (talkative) so just ignore and tough it out.

She can definitely be rough around the edges. Get on her good side early on and you will stay there. Forget an assignment and you're screwed for the year. She can tell by your face if you did the work so always do it. I highly recommend taking her. Learned a lot and helped me overcome my fear of public speaking completely. Always felt comfortable.

She can be very nasty. She doesn't teach the material and is totally out dated with her examples. She expectes us to have lived in her generation. She treated us like children in first grade. When I took the upper level course, I was lost. Avoid her!

Nice woman, somewhat easy grader if you follow what she wants. 3 speeches & a final. Hand in things when she wants them, because she'll have an attitude if they're not on time. Makes class VERY comfortable for those who are nervous.

One thing is she is very understanding. If you need to postpone something, she will usually let you. It's a very easy class but kind of a tough grader when it comes to speeched. 4 speeches, a quiz, and a final. She wasn't that hard.

Ok, so she's really weird and tends to go on tangents...I personally thought she was really annoying and pretty abrupt. she is a really sweet lady. she is a very easy grader for your speeches, which are really short. and she gets all her classes to be comfortable around each other so speeches arent awkward. if you cant make class or are going to be late and let her know she is really cool about it. i really recommend her for this course

Nice lady, be sure to speak up in class when u have to talk. 5 speeches, decent greader youll get a B at the least. the more effort u put into presenting the speech the higher the grade gets. minimal work, quiz is kinda easy.

She teaches like it's kindergarten. Agree with her and smile at her during class and she'll like you. If she likes you, the quality of your speeches doesn't matter that much. Study what she tells you and the quizzes are easy.
