Gives a ton of homework and grades TERRIBLY! This is an MBA class for goodness sake. He grades like we're undergraduates with all the free time in the world. If you don't do the problems 100% correct, you can expect to get a 60 or even a ZERO. A zero for trying and putting in the time and effort. Most of these problems take over an hour to do!

He does not give quizzes, or a lot of homework, but he abuses the students in the second and final exams. I am a senior, and he is the only professor that did not teach well at uhart. I may graduate late because of his class, try to avoid him.

His lectures have nothing to do with what's on the exams. He wastes the whole class time on solving 1 homework question... and for the remaining time he gives crappy examples that makes everything even more complicated. Basically, he doesn't know how to teach. Taking a class with him wasted my time, money, and really dropped my gpa.

If you are taking it online, he's the only professor at Barney that makes online sessions lively. Lots of homework, but they are not hard. Lots of people complain that he's not clear, I think it is just because you don't pay enough attention to to his lecture and material. Most of the answers for his quizzes are either found in the book or his ppt

Excellent teacher - greatly simplifies explanations of complex concepts like regression analysis better than any statistics teacher I've had. Reading some of the previous posts, it seems he's changed his class structure. There are no required exams. Grades are based on discussion questions, quizzes, homework.

This teacher is so rude! We got along fine, but when it came time for my final exam he failed me twice. I am a national honors student - and to get a D in his class was unheard of. Reported him to school administration for being rude. My advice to you is to switch classes and do not give this careless teacher the time of day. Good luck.

He must have reorganized his methods because all the negative reviews I find extremely inaccurate. He really engages the class with his lectures and I personally find them very entertaining. His tests are easy- he gives the questions ahead of time on Blackboard and attendance is not mandatory. I think he's great.

Nice guy and really seemed into his material, but made the class much more difficult than it should have been. Only takes 3 grades the whole semester (all exams).... If you take the practice quizzes 15-20 times each before the exams you should receive at least a B in the class.

Sumukadas is the definition of "you need to earn what you desire". This guy will push you hard. But isn't life a grind? Nobody will hand you opportunity in life, so why should he? This guy gets my vote for an amazing professor and helpful guy. Narender is a legend!

One of the worst professors i've ever had. Gave our midterm on prerequisite material "that would not be covered in class". Absolutely idiculous. Will ruin your GPA. STAY AWAY.

I read the posted reviews prior to taking MBA 620 and was a bit worried. However, all the negative reviews are inaccurate. Professor Sumukadas changed the class to just being a midterm and final each worth 50% of the grade. Lazy students BEWARE! This class is a lot of work and he expects you to do it all. However, if you do ALL of the homework and quizzes from the beginning and do well on the first exam the rest of the semester is a breeze. Put in the effort and you will understand the material, do well on exam(s) and do well in the class.
