Nice teacher and funny. Talks about history with energy, but can be heavy when it comes to test grades. Be prepared to write alot and take several pages of notes for each test or assessment.

All Hail the Judd Lord!!!!! Professor Judd is amazing, he should run for president in 2020 (Normal Sized Hands!!!). Judd is a great teacher who is funny and you will learn a lot from him. I think that his skills as a wise sage are unsurpassed. His tests aren't hard because even Thomas Paine understood them, they are Common Sense!!!

If you enjoy History, take this class! I took Mr. Judd's AMH classes as a dual-enrollment student. Make sure to take good notes, as they will help you study for his short response tests. Also, it's better to communicate with him in person rather than email. As long as you work hard and keep up with the syllabus, you will get the grade you deserve.

Judd is a great teacher. His tests might be tough, but if you want to get a good grade and know history; I would recommend to take him. In my opinion, he is a better teacher than Farley. I didn't like history but because we had to take written response tests, I got interested in history.

I've had Judd the past 2 years and I've enjoyed each class. He's a good man, very funny, you can tell he cares about his students. His tests ARE difficult, as they are all written response, but if you make an effort you will gain a lot from his class. LOVE YOU JUDD

This review is mainly for any CALC Students bound to go on any CALC study abroad excursions who are interested to know what Mr. Judd's study abroad class is about. The class is VERY simple and even the tests are take home! All other course work comes from essays, class questions and a travel log. Do decently on all these, and you'll get the "A"!

Judd is the man. He is such a great teacher. I've had him for 4 classes now and intend on taking him again next year. His lectures are interesting and he makes learning history fun. I definitely recommend taking him if you want to have a great history experience. JUDDDDD

Very hard class. All exams were essay questions, and then two essays for the final. You have to come to class and listen to him lecturing, more than focusing on the powerpoint. This class really stressed me out about my grade, but I managed to get out with a B. Not good, but better than what I expected.

I loved Mr. Judd. However, don't take him if you do not like to write. All of his exams are short-response questions. He talks really fast and is sometimes hard to understand. But he will sit with you after class and review what you don't understand. He also gave easy take home quizzes, all the answers were online! Great teacher!

Mr Judd is an awesome professor. I despise history, but after taking his class, it's not bad at all. Of course its difficult, IT'S COLLEGE!! But he teaches the material well. He stays after class and always reviews before the test. I'm taking him next semester. He mumbles random jokes, they're funny if you can understand. He's a good guy! Thanks!!

This is the best history teacher I have ever had. I never liked history, I have always hated it in fact, but I have taken him for two history courses now and thoroughly enjoyed them both. He gives the BEST exam reviews you will ever have and explains everything in an entertaining way with his lectures. Listen in class, you cant get below an A.

Mr.Judd was the definition of a perfect teacher. He offered help for any questions you might have. I won't say this class is easy but you will actually attain a good knowledge of the subject. Class was usually interesting and tests are A LOT of essay-style writing. The first test is extremely difficult.
