Did not enjoy her class at all. She had trouble keeping the class attentive and engaged. She wasn't overly friendly, seemed like she always had her nose out of joint. I can't say much about how she marks because the TA's did all the marking...but both her exams (midterm and final) were extremely difficult and unfair.

One of my favourite profs thus far. Show up to class, be respectful and she'll treat you like gold. Interesting lecture, with interesting course material and her sense of humour is an added bonus.

Prof. Coulter is very interesting. I definitely enjoyed her lectures, however, a lot of the information seemed to be 'common sense' so she depended on the students using the textbook in the midterm and the exam (like knowing the author and specific points). I definitely enjoyed the class though, just sucked that she made attendance mandatory.

Honestly, this class is so boring. But she made it passable. I really loved her excitement for the subject. She gets really into it. I remembered alot of what she said because she is down to earth in her lecture. Only bad thing is unclear exams/tests, reads right off her slides, boring material. But if you have a question, go to this lady!!!

i thought you she was good prof. she always shortened her lectures which was a huge bonus. the final and midterm are pretty much based off of the textbook readings.

The class is not hard, but as a person she is not very helpful at all. She is rude and does not like helping students. She is more concerned about telling everyone she has a PhD...ya, you and the rest of the professors!! I hope you all see the good in her, but I do not!!

Could not keep control of the class. Held exam help sessions (bonus). Annoying voice. Midterm focusses mostly on readings. Students pretty much determine when class is over.

Don't see what the problem is -- too many students taking the course, but prof is fine... office hours were better than others and she was actually there

Initially thought she was cool but realized after lectures, tutorials and one on one meetings that she is HORRIBLE. Whether she is aware of it or not, she is condescending, unclear, not helpful and can be downright rude. Do not take any of her classes unless you want you actually like to be treated that way. HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE. Do not take the class. I'm not bitter because I did poorly, I actually did quite well in the class. She wasn't the slightest bit helpful, explanations were not clear.
