Wasn't a hard class. Micro and Macro is done now through Connect online. Simple HW's, quizzes, and Exams. Makes you discuss and connects it to real world to make it interesting. Do your work on time and shouldn't be a problem. Gave us extra credit and seemed as if she was always available for questions.

Comment:

I took this class online and it was hard!! The tests are very hard and you really have to read and understand the readings to even try to pass the tests. Also, the lectures are long but you must watch them. I studied hard and this was still one of hardest online classes I had. She does give you one extra credit option at the end of the semester.

The subject is not difficult, but the class is quite difficult. The professor gives quizzes that are from the textbook yet the lectures posted don't cover the same topics as the textbook. Effectively she gives you the textbook and her job ends there. Also not helpful at all, her extra credit was harshly graded. Would not recommend to anyone.

I would recommend her as a professor. Gives out sooooo much extra credit. Pay attention in class, print out the slides, and take the practice quizzes online. Her tests aren't that hard if you study. Her practice quizzes are mostly the same questions on the tests.

Prof Reaves is a nice woman but you really need to study for her class. She is more than willing to meet students 1 on 1 for office hours to help. Gives out practice tests which have similar info as real tests. participation really improves your grade in the long run. Get the book!! You'll use it a lot.

Offers a lot of opportunities for Extra Credit, all you have to do is participate and answer questions. She uses some website to do homework on so that was kind of boring but overall this class is not too bad. The tests weren't that bad, she offers review online before all the tests so it makes it pretty simple.

LOVED THIS WOMAN! my roommate and I refer to her as a boss! We loved this class!! So many ec opportunities, therefore you SHOULD get an A, but you def have to participate. Awesome prof, first econ class where I didnt want to cry everytime I opened the book. TAKE HER!!! Fave class this semester, wish I could have a class with her every semester.

Dr. Reeves is very through. She answers questions and repeatedly goes over difficult topics. She gives practice quizes and test that are very simular. This subject is very ticky without macro and the ones compliaining are fromthere. Because you are allowed to take a course out of order doesnt mean you should. If you do expect to study hard.

She certainly isn't a joyful woman (though she has her small moments). Her class is easy if you pay attention and study, which i don't do and am still doing fine in. She DOES teach really well. I've learned more from her than in any other class. She'll call you out and criticize you for talking in class... I'd take her though. show up and listen.

I took her class not knowing anything about Micro. It was really hard to keep up even though she does make sure anyone has questions before she moves on..I just didnt know what to ask. She gives some extra credit but I feel like it isnt worth anything..just to make students happy. She makes it a hard and boring class so I would never take her again

Reaves taught Intro to Micro Economics exceptionally well. She makes sure everyone understands before moving on. Class is based on 4 exams, all which are very easy, as long as you do the online practice tests (most questions come directly from this.) Not much homework or papers- TONS OF EXTRA CREDIT- don't listen to others- take her!!

NEVER TAKE HER SHe is horrible. Cant teach & she makes you feel really stupid if you try to ask her a question. She gives tons of work & she says attendance doesnt count but she passes around a sign in sheet. Dont miss a class or you will never catch up.
