Nathalia made my Reed College experience thus far. Nobody else like her breaks down abstract and complicated lit theory into such clear and applicable ideas. She wants to teach you how to write clearly and concisely, and she will hold your writing to a respectable high standard that has never felt unreachable to me. She's the best teacher I've had.

Natalia is great! I have her for my Hum conference, and she is very encouraging and has dramatically increased my writing ability. I really believe she is the best possible professor to have for Hum110 - she's very intelligent, has very complex, intricate and interesting ideas during class, and has us over to her house for dinner.

Nathalia is great at drawing students down the path of analysis towards a defensible conclusion by thoughtfully selecting which pieces of information to disclose as the conference progresses. If students don't reach a good conclusion, Nathalia will often bottom line it, which is satisfying and helpful. She is top 3 of the profs I had at Reed.

One of the most articulate thinkers I have ever met, and an exceptional conference leader, Nathalia gives extremely incisive and helpful comments on written work. She showed me the joy of argumentation -- not to promote conflict at all, but to realize the infinitely wide and deep potential for language to specify, characterize, correlate, etc.

Anyone who doesn't like Nathalia is crazy. She is one of the most intelligent people I have ever met; surely the most intelligent in the English dept. She is also very approachable and easy to talk to. I am a huge fan. Nathalia cares.
