Although Dr. B is an intelligent woman, she can be vicious and condescending. She encourages students to think for themselves, yet she harbors an academic environment in which people are not only intimidated but irritated by her. She is an insensitive pedant and only favors students who share her exact ideologies. Avoid this woman at all costs!

This was easily the worst class I have ever taken. The information was unclear and boring. Furthermore, B is the worst prof. I have ever had. Extremely biased towards certain students and very unfair with grading. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!

I just completed the semester with her and I don't understand what everyone is talking about. We had a class of 30 that was very discussion oriented and she was always kind and student focused. I went to her office hours several times and she was VERY nice and helpful. She never put anyone down in class and was very helpful in discussion.

B thinks shes the CEO of a fortune-100 company and the whole world are her part-time secretaries, and she treats u accordingly. no matter what u do, she'll always find a reason to yell at u and patronize u. she loves to micromanage and make u do stupid, unnecessary boring tasks. she doesn't really do neuro, just looks at beh data. WORST LAB EVER!

She is terrible to work with. She will tell you to do something, then become enraged later when you have only done exactly what she asked. She is unstable, unreasonable, pits people against each other, and seems to think other people are unworthy of her. Too bad she doesn't have the people skills to make use of her brains and creativity.

Berenbaum is incredibly difficult. She grades extremely unfairly. I know what to expect from college and am a good student. But, this class was ridiculous. I have never had a worse professor. One second she treats you like a 5 year old and the next she treats you like you should know as much as someone who has a PhD. Avoid her at all costs.

Dr. Berenbaum is a great professor who only depends professionalism. She is very helpful and there for the students who are respectful and serious about their academic careers. If you think classes are just an extension of h.s. then no, don't take her. However, if you accept college for being just that COLLEGE then you'll get along well.
