I took macroeconomics the semester before, and I understood everything but I didn't understand this class. There is no textbook and his notes are extremely dense and detailed. Most of his quizzes are cumulative, with many questions from previous chapters and his tests are long and hard. Everything is short answer. I absolutely hate this class.

Super energized and knowledgeable. I love the class, but it's tough. Pop quizzes over journal articles are a large component of the class. In the same, there's not really a good reason I'd want to skip this class. It's fun and interesting.

Professor Berg is very interesting. There is an occasional quiz over homework (homework isn't graded) but they are pretty straight-forward. He gives you a 15-20 page packet before the exam which is pretty much all the same questions. But you have to find the answers yourself and memorize them for the exam. Its difficult to finish exam in time!

interesting, but difficult to understand sometimes. he mumbles and his thoughts are random at times. the test R difficult, detailed and muliti-sub questions. basically, people either like him or just hate him. its mainly your attitude to him.
