Fantastic professor! If you don't like the material, don't take corporate finance! He is a true master at what he does, teaching, and helping students understand the world of corporate finance.

Although he may be a smart man, it does not translate to the good teaching. He has so much in his head that the lectures are hard to fallow. I have never been so dis-interrested in lectures before.

I tried very hard to stay awake in his class.. after a while i just stopped going to class.. There is no point in going to his class.. He just rambles on about stuff, that are very remotely connected to the subject matter. I just read the book.. but he is an easy grader.

I dont know if my attention was lagging when I took this class, but i remember laughing at the total crazy nonsence rambling coming out of his mouth durring class. Clearly has been teaching for a while and seems a little board of running through the routine. Quality guy, true Trinitian

Smart, loves teaching, insightful. Those of you who are complaining--why didn't ya do the readings? He won't repeat what's in the book, he'll say much more. Gives a little bit too many handouts though. Yeah, and math in this course is sooooooo easy.

Having the benefit of completing a degree prior to coming to Trinity, I can say with some meaning that I have never seen a Prof willing to give tutorial reviews on fri at 9:30PM, and on sundays. His dedication and willingness to help students is remarkable. You will get information beyond the book.

While he rambles during his lectures, he is one of the brightest and nicest professors on campus. He also looks out for his students, giving recommendations and providing contacts. He is a better resource than career services for finding finance jobs.

He's a great teacher, really helpful, always willing to talk, really really smart guy. he will bore you at times, but over all, i'd say his class is easier than other intro econ teachers.

Prof. Curran has a sense of humor. He's just ready to retire, but loves the kids. Hes unclear because he rambles until someone asks a question. To those taking a class with him: do the reading, and come to class with questions. Interrupt his ramblings and

His lectures do not have much relevance to the text material. I took an AP level Econ course in high school; having not taken this course, I probably would have done very poorly in Curran's class. He doesn't seem to enjoy teaching 101, either.

Not enthusiastic about teaching 101. Hard to follow and unclear. Also somewhat arrogant. I think he dislikes teaching 101 b/c it's beneath him. Very low marks there. Not sure about higher level courses.

He knows everything about economics, but he doesn't share the knowledge in a clear manner. Don't take him at 8:30, he's rather monotonous and I found myself falling asleep more times than not. Maybe a better prof for higher level courses, but not intro.
