I took a one credit course with him and it was a lot of fun. It was middle east studies so it wasn't was he usually teaches but I learned so much. He had an unorthodox way of teaching, but this was a 1st time thing. He was very funny and went easy on us with grading. I don't know about his other classes, but this one was definitely worth it.

Really has absolutely no grading scale. Sure, there is one in the syllabus because he has to have one, but his grades are 100% subjective. He changed the weighting of quizzes/tests/homework multiple times throughout the year, so don't think you can not do the homework (he says you don't have to). Said "I know your grade after the first two weeks."

He was my advisor. He is an okay teacher. I can't say that I learned a lot. He likes to focus on computer work, and spreadsheets. You can get an A if you can get a good spreadsheet to help you figure out the proper aritmatic. He lacks on teaching the principles. Volunteer to help in class and he will help your grade.
