Comment:
Best class I've taken from the department and probably the university as a whole. We focused on theory, applied calculations using, and discussion of relevant literature. These three areas really helped to flesh out understanding of the field. You must intuitively understand calculus and its economic applications

This is the hardest class Ive taken at Binghamton, even significantly harder than econometrics. That being said, Professor Khanna is great at explaining and is extremely approachable and helpful. Id gladly take a class with Khanna again, just not this class cause its way too hard unless you have amazing math skills

ECON433 has been the hardest class I have taken in my life. Professor Khanna is very helpful and respectful in the classroom, but the course material she teaches in entirely too hard. The top students in the class get 50% correct on the midterm. No one in the class earns an A, highest grade in the class is either A- or B+.

Comment:
Horrible econ class with Khanna. The tests are worth your entire grade and if you don't do well on one, you basically cannot get a good grade. Even if you study, the test is beyond hard for no reason. Having a good TA is so important; you will literally fail without a good one. Mine barely knew English. Lectures are FAST PACED and DIFFICULT.

Worst econ teacher i've ever had. You mostly get graded by tests and they're really difficult. You get a lot of homework assignments and they are only 10% of your grade. If you fail the midterms, you basically fail the course. I stopped going to lecture because I literally can't understand her and she's goes way to fast. everyone skipped by end

Khanna is a very clear lecturer and shes interesting. However her exams are really hard, but as long as you study you should do fine. What makes or breaks this class is your ta. Mine is too disorganized socially awkward to teach effectively so I stopped going to his discussion. Try to attend another section if that happens to you

One of the hardest upper level economics classes I have taken. Calculus-intensive and heavy homework. Final includes both calculus and excel which makes use of the Solver software. Put in a lot of effort and you will get an A- or A. Overall, hard but interesting class!

If you are an Econ major and not a hard worker, I wouldn't suggest you for this class. 40% of the class Got C below, which means failed in Econ requirements course. It is a really hard course, although she's able to explain things clearly during lecture, homework are heavy and hard, tests are even harder.

Professor Khanna was pretty good. She draws plenty of example diagrams in case you miss something or don't fully understand it. She's also very nice if you go to her office hours. Tests are somewhat hard but fair. The only issue was that her lectures were pretty monotonous and repetitive. If you can pay attention, you'll learn.

I got an ok grade in her class. Tip: Read the textbook and go to office hours and go to the discussion classes (practice econ problems are in the discussion classes). Ask questions. Her tests can be a bit tricky so please read the question carefully and think about each question carefully. She puts a lot of tricky questions on tests ESPECIALLY onmc

Professor Khanna is one of the better Binghamton professors I've had the pleasure of taking a course with. She is knowledgeable and provides plenty of time outside of class to help students. I did not receive an A because I did not study or attend class enough. But if you put in the time and effort, an A is attainable. PS Read the textbook!

Best professor I've had at Binghamton so far. Makes lectures worthwhile. She's very receptive to questions, and extremely knowledgable about what she teaches. Exams can be a little tricky, but she never throws any curveballs. I swapped in from Chaurey's class into hers because of a scheduling conflict and I'm glad I did

While Neha Khanna is an extremely intelligent professor, she speeds through the material way too quickly. Challenging class, especially as the semester progresses.

I found her Econ 160 class to be enjoyable. She always brought in interesting examples. Tests were easy but be careful because she curves down. Discussion sections aren't mandatory but they're helpful. I'd recommend

Neha is amazing! Her lectures are very clear, and she will explain things until they are understood. She puts off the appearance that she is unapproachable be she is very approachable for anything. She has inspired me to Economics.
