Bill Reay is a great man. You can tell he knows the material and loves teaching it to his students. He even took a group of students up in his airplane, which was amazing! He was willing to take time to help students, as well as share his outside interests with us.

Dr. Reay is the best. I had him back in the 1987 and he took a group of us to Fermi Lab. It was a great experience. I am now a professor myself and Dr. Reay is one of the reasons I chose academia.

Dr. Reay is the man! Students from other lectures would come to watch him perform. Lecture is very enjoyable and interactive - it's very easy to learn with him. During midterm week, there weren't even enough seats for everybody who came to see him. That probably says it all - Dr. Reay's a nice, light-hearted guy who really knows his stuff.

The material is relatively easy, especially in the beginning since it all builds on itself. Once you get into special relativity everything was random and nothing built on anything and made the class hard to keep up with. If you have a good TA, use them. Final and midterms were fair, do the hw to keep up.
