REALLY rude to students. Barely knows the subject. Can't teach. Is a mess. If you ask for help, he may just confuse you more. Sometimes he can help, but very rarely.

The subject is hard. But honestly, Professor Georgalis is great. If you listen to him and follow what he says you will do well. For some students, this class will come easy but others will have to work at it. The tutors are a key to making sure you really understand. Attendance is not mandatory but showing up is also the key to passing.

Worst general education class/professor. 7 exams that are 20-25 T/F each and a final exam thats 70 T/F. Lectures are dry, useless, and don't help you on the exams. Biggest waste of my time. Killed my 3.7 GPA. Do yourself a favor and don't sign up for this terrible professor. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

please listen to me. not once have i struggled with a class, not once have i gotten a b. and i wasnt ready to break that record for this class. more than half the class dropped by the drop date. the tests are unclear and he grades them harshly, he gives no extra credit. its not worth the pain for a gen ed class!!!!

Georgalis is a great logic professor, he really knows his stuff. Homework comes straight out of the textbook, so it is a must. He does give a lot of homework, be sure to do it because the test is very similar. If you miss less than 2 classes, you get extra credit on your final grade. You definitely will have to work to pass

Taking Logics, 3 weeks in, and heres what i got from him. A) No Blackboard, no emails, not sure about study guides B) His lectures are confusing beyond their worth. He spends class time on tedious exercises, no powerpoints. When he defines his material he doesn't have consistent definitons (or I should say...) C) it's a glorified english class

I took Georgalis for three classes. He was one of my favorite professors in school. If you're not a total idiot and actually try to do the work he assigns he will treat you with respect and kindness. If you are an idiot he is an ass back. Point of this comment is, don't be an idiot and do the work he asks you to do and you get good grades.

He is passionate about his subject, and he expects students to be. Ask questions, participate, and read the pages papers assigned. If you do do and ask for help, he will help and appreciate you. If you don't or slack off, he will be irritated and might punishlecture the whole class. As long as you show commitment, you will be on his good side!

Many of Georgalis's reviews are very misguiding. He's a great teacher. Doing well in this class is as easy as reading, doing practice problem, and asking questions in class. If you do that, he'll go out of his way to help you and getting an A or a B shouldn't be a problem. He really knows his stuff. I'd definitely recommend him.

He is a very good professor, and answers any questions that he can. Sometimes he misunderstands your question, so just ask him in a different way. If you didn't like geometry in high school you probably won't like this class.

This is not an easy class. However, if you work hard it becomes very passable. You must come to class, no other way around it. When I received my A in this class I knew I earned it. If you come to class, do the homework (must do the homework if you want to pass), and speak up if you don't understand; you will pass without doubt.

Never ever take this class. I only wished that I listened to others. If you are a "A" student then your GPA will drop if you take this class & have this professor. Worst professor/class while at ECU. The entire class was depressed. He knows the material, but doesn't realize that everyone else doesn't even when they asked for help. Poor GPA!!!

I love this professor. He doesn't make anything easy though. He is the type of professor that makes you earn your grade. He does require that you come to class but trust me if you don't come to class you will be missing a lot of hard material. He is very difficult and he makes you read a lot but you will feel so accomplished afterwards.

If you want to get a good grade in his class, you MUST read before each class, ask questions, and Study alot ! He gives 4 tests with no curve or extra credit at all. The tests require you to broaden your thinking which is why so many people don't do good in his class. Loved him as a person but was hard to keep motivated. Attendance is mandatory!

Nicholas Georgalis, victory to the people! Dr. Georgalis is an excellent instructor, able to explain difficult concepts to those who are struggling with them, yet ready for discussions on more advanced topics. I found logic very easy, but I believe that Georgalis explains it well for those who need more help.
