Nick!!! Multiple times he's said "I love you like a son." I am currently on my second degree with him and plan for a third. He is very much about helping each student develop their own musical vision - we all sound very different, and not like him. Expect to work hard and blaze your own trail - but he'll be there to help with anything if you ask!
