I have had two classes with Bonner, and he is easily my favorite teacher. He seems a lot more "harsh" on paper but is a lot more laid back as long as you are doing the work by the due date. He loves simple art as well so try to work in that area. He will often give back harsh feedback but gives out generous grades.

Nick really cares about students and will remember you well if you are a team player and contribute to class. He influenced me to take a minor in creative writing after reading one of my papers. He's very helpful. Besides being a little cocky abut that he doesn't watch TV, he's a humble, cool dad kind of professor. Great way to start college.

I love Nick, he's one of the best professors I have had yet. You will hear a lot of complaints about how he 'gives you too much work' because of the first project, but in reality, as long as you don't procrastinate, youll do fine. Everyone has to do it. Nick was always helpful and gave every student his undivided attention. He is a great man!

Very nice, comes off as quirky, but intelligent man. Sometimes he doesn't make projects clear, but if you ask for clarification he'll help you. Also, he's very understanding (one of my projects was ruined by an external source and he didn't take off points). As long as you work hard and don't take critques personally, you'll be fine!

Bonner is a major reason I was able to finish school from a clerical standpoint. He was my advisor and spent an entire day with me sorting out a final semester schedule that would get me on my way. even when other professors we inquired to turned us away for information, he pushed through. I will always owe Bonner a debt for that.

He is very helpful and but nothing impresses him. I don't think he pays attention to what students do or when they leave. and he is not easy at all, he gave us an assignment to do 85 thumbnails and 17 studies and 1 huge project all to do in 2 weeks !! he gives a lot in a short time ! he is just crazy

Nick flat out admitted he'd never been the advisor to a Design student before but he was still amazing. He went out of his way to contact both Candace and one of the professors in the Honors house to help me with my questions. Even though he's never had me in class he's still friendly whenever I see him.

I absolutely love Nick. He really helped me see what i wanted to do with art and pushed me to be the best i can be. He's super nice, but he will tell if he doesn't think something works in your piece, with that however he always tries to help you make it work. I highly recommend Nick to anyone serious about art.
